Great post Barry. Yes it’s interesting to see the Crown on the Census and the beautiful penmanship too. I guess the word ‘penmanship’ isn’t used much these days and might even be considered a sexist word, maybe ‘nice font’ is the more modern version! Anyhow I’m digressing. As well as the stint in Clonmel, the Ryans who ended up in Galbally, Co. Limerick got there I believe via Emly, Co. Tipperary so Up Tipp! indeed.
